At MDCS Skills Academy, learners are encouraged to see their opportunity as something that can create impact beyond themselves. Through the Making a Difference Project, learners contribute towards a community need they identify together.

This project encourages gratitude, responsibility, teamwork and community care. It helps learners understand that their own growth can become part of something much bigger.

These initiatives can support blind, visually impaired and deaf learners in limited-service communities, helping create access to practical development and future employment opportunities.
